Shane Ryall - Guitar + Bass Lessons
Shane has been teaching guitar and bass for about 24 years, and performing live for about the same time. During those years he has taught at a number of schools including Soundworks, Ringwood, Fretted Instruments Box Hill, Melbourne Girls Grammar and Greensborough High school. He has also taught at Salesian College, Sunbury, since 2005.
Some of the artists he has worked with professionally include Bob Downe, Denise Drysdale, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, Kylie Auldist, The Drifters, Jane Clifton & So Nice, The Band Who Knew Too Much, The Soul Passengers, Grand Wazoo, Tanya Lee, and Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks (USA) amongst others. He gigs consistently in a number of bands.
Shane has also played on a number of CDs including Bob Downe’s Cold August Night, The Soul Passengers EP, Paul Williamson’s Live at the Espy and many others. He is guest performer on Vivondo - Gerry Hales Innocent Bystanders (voted 3PBS album of the week) and is currently playing on the theme song for the 3PBS Monday night jazz show with Justine Jones. |

Joe Imbroll - Guitar + Bass Lessons
Joe has been playing bass and guitar for more than 35 years and is still currently active in all facets of the music industry – playing live, recording and teaching. He has been teaching bass and guitar at Billy Hyde Music Flemington for 20 years.
Joe’s approach to teaching is focused on all aspects of music (music theory, reading, improvising, etc) supplying a solid grounding from which the student can then develop into their own style.
His influences are derived from great players in varied styles of music. “If it is GOOD, I LIKE IT.”
Some of the artists Joe has played and recorded with are John Farnham, Ian Moss, Normie Rowe, Max Merritt, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Andy Cowan, Broderick Smith, Paul Norton, Wendy & The Rockets, Stockley See Mason Band, Lulu, Colleen Hewitt, Shane Howard, Goanna, Chantoozies, Jim Keays, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Renee Geyer, Vanessa Amorosi, Swanee and Ross Wilson.
Whilst playing with these artists, Joe has had the opportunity to do supports on Australian tours with Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Melissa Etheridge and Status Quo.
