Peter Badenoch - Bass Guitar Lessons
Peter has played Electric Bass professionally throughout Australia for over 23 years. For 10 of those years he was based in Melbourne, working the club and corporate circuits. During that time he was also a member of GO101, a late 80s pop act, which had Australian chart success, releasing an album and several singles.
He has played a wide range of styles including Motown, Funk, Soul, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Country, Folk, Hard Rock and as a bass player is passionate about supporting the song, whatever the style. He has a wide range of playing experiences ranging from large stadium rock shows to sophisticated corporate evenings, pub rock at local bars to laid back folk festivals and laying down grooves at dance clubs. Peter currently plays around Cairns with rock cover band “Sanchez,” funk band “Funky Love Tank” and jazz band “Cool Change.” He also makes regular trips to Sydney to play with original band “Beautifully Mad” soulfully blending blues, jazz and folk.
Peter’s approach to bass lessons involves teaching students the fundamentals of harmony, rhythm and reading, how to analyse and learn songs, and to assist students in developing natural ability, learn new skills and develop technique.
